AI Leap

For Whom and When?

2025

In the spring, the foundation TI-Hüpe was established for implementing the programme, with its main task being the strategic management of integrating artificial intelligence into the educational system.

In the summer, Google Gemini and Open AI/Chat GPT software will be tested.

In August 2025, AI Leap's teacher support programme will begin. In the programme, schools and teachers will be supported with:

  • learning communities in each school,
  • teacher trainings,
  • access to edu AI applications,
  • web-based community for experience and material sharing.

During the project's first phase, 20,000 high school students in grades 10-11 and their 4,700 teachers will receive access to world-leading AI-based educational applications.

Negotiations are ongoing with software creators OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft and others.

2026

From autumn 2026, a new 10th grade (10,000 new high school students) will join the second phase of the project, gaining access to AI learning software.

In autumn 2026, 28,000 vocational education students and their 2,000 teachers will also join.

2027

In spring 2027, the first students who completed the AI Leap programme will graduate. The initiative will have directly impacted approximately 58,000 students and 5,000 teachers.
