In the spring, the foundation TI-Hüpe was established for implementing the programme, with its main task being the strategic management of integrating artificial intelligence into the educational system.

Starting in August, teacher training courses will be conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Research.

During the project's first phase, 20,000 high school students in grades 10-11 and their 3,000 teachers will receive access to world-leading AI-based educational applications on September 1, 2025. Negotiations are ongoing with software creators OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft and others.

From autumn 2026, a new 10th grade (10,000 new high school students) will join the second phase of the project, gaining access to AI learning software.

In autumn 2026, 28,000 vocational education students and their 2,000 teachers will also join.

In spring 2027, the first students who completed the AI Leap programme will graduate. The initiative will have directly impacted approximately 58,000 students and 5,000 teachers.
