International study visit

International study visit

AI Leap International Study Visit is a two-day event designed to introduce ministry representatives and education leaders from across Europe and beyond to Estonia’s pioneering AI Leap program in general education.

🗓️ May 28–29, 2026
📍 Roosikrantsi 6 (AI Leap office), Tallinn, Estonia
✍️ Registration deadline: April 24, 2026

Gathering for education leaders responsible for AI in general education

Taking place on May 28–29 in Tallinn, the visit brings together policy-level insights and practical experiences. Over the two days, participants will explore Estonia’s national vision for integrating AI into education, its partnership and governance model, and how these ideas are implemented in real school settings.

Program

Rather than a series of short meetings, this two-day format allows for deeper understanding, meaningful exchange, and direct observation of how innovation is applied in practice.

  • School visits and hands-on sessions showcasing how AI tools are used in classrooms.
  • Parallel thematic tracks for different stakeholders (e.g. teachers, students, researchers).
  • Reflection and group discussions
  • Sharing insights and shaping future cooperation.
  • Strategic discussions and policy dialogue on AI in education.
  • Focused sessions on ethics, data protection, and learning design
